Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway Projeect will Benefit over 30million Nigeria

President Bola Tinubu announced on Sunday that the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway will not only pave the way for smoother travel but also create direct job opportunities for millions and positively impact over 30 million citizens. Yes, you heard that right – this highway is so magical it practically builds its own economy!

Speaking in Lagos, Tinubu marked the grand kickoff of the 700-km Lagos-Calabar highway project. This monumental occasion also included several other initiatives to commemorate his first year in office. Talk about a first-year anniversary bash! Forget cake and balloons; we’re talking asphalt and bulldozers.

Tinubu, who apparently moonlights as a part-time wizard, emphasized that the highway will do more than just provide a smooth ride from Lagos to Calabar. "We’re not just building a road; we’re constructing dreams, one pothole at a time," he joked, imagining a future where every citizen gets to experience the joy of traffic-free commutes – well, maybe not every citizen, but we can dream!

He continued, "Think about it: millions of new jobs! From construction workers to toll booth operators, and let’s not forget the roadside coconut sellers. This highway is an economic buffet, and everyone’s invited." Tinubu's vision includes transforming the roadside economy into a bustling marketplace.

President Bola Tinubu shared that this project is more than just a road; it's a symbol of hope, unity, and prosperity for Nigeria. “This road will fast-track community development and bring progress right to the people’s doorstep,” Tinubu said, adding with a grin, "Imagine 30 million people finally getting a smooth ride to work and back. It's like giving traffic jams a permanent vacation!"

He continued, “You’ll be able to predict your journey time, whether you're going up, down, or sideways. It’s all about the freedom to move without wishing for a helicopter.”

The president also called for public understanding, especially from those whose properties and livelihoods might be affected by the construction. "We all need to make some sacrifices to help our country grow," he said. "But don’t worry, we’re a compassionate government. We'll make sure everyone gets fair compensation, and maybe even a free ride on the new highway!”

Tinubu praised the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway as a beacon of hope and prosperity. "This road is not just about getting from point A to point B. It will connect communities across nine states, boost trade, promote tourism, and create countless new opportunities for future generations," he declared.

So, get ready for a smoother journey, folks. And if you find yourself stuck in traffic, just remember: better days (and roads) are on the way!
